Small photovoltaic cells have their application in low-power gadgets. For example in the calculator and even in watches, these cells are present. Larger photovoltaic cells are present in bigger gadgets like a water pump.

We can use this clean energy in our homes. At home, it has great advantages. In homes, we are using solar heaters. By using solar energy, we are heating the water through a solar heater. So we can say that it has huge residential applications. We can install the photovoltaic cell on the roof of our house. This will do the collection of clean energy. This will in return do the heating of the water. Solar energy can generate electricity also. During the daytime, batteries store the energy, captured by the photovoltaic cell. We all need to use solar appliances so that we can reduce the expenditure on energy.
